FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to reinforce a railway track consists in the fact that old ballast arranged to the level of the main site is cut, geotextile is laid, and cleaned crushed stone is applied on top. After cutting the ballast to the level of the main site the remaining underlying non-cleaned used crushed stone in the level of the main site is levelled, cleaned with pneumatic blowing, compacted. An organic binder is introduced into the used crushed stone by pouring, which, when integrating into crushed stone granules, develops a solidified layer of the strengthened base with high module of deformation for a track superstructure. As the organic binder is introduced into the used crushed stone, geotextile is laid on top serially, which jointly with the organic binder forms a solid hydraulic insulation coating. Ballast material is filled on top in layers and compacted, a ballast prism is finished, on surface of which organic binders are applied, for instance, a bitumen emulsion or a resin that solidify the ballast prism.
EFFECT: increased strength of the base in an subballast zone.
