FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to appetising capacity intensifiers applied in moist fodder products and beverages for domestic animals. The method for production of thermally treated appetising moist fodder for domestic animals involves addition of the following ingredients to the moist fodder preparation for domestic animals: at least one taste-and-flavour component produced by way of the Maillard reaction or precursors of a taste-and-flavour component produced by way of the Maillard thermal reaction (containing at least one reducing sugar and at least one amino acid), at least one inorganic phosphate compound chosen from the group consisting of polyphosphates, inorganic pyrophosphates and their combinations in an amount of 0.1 - 1 wt % in relation to the ready fodder weight. The produced mass is heated at a temperature within the range of 100 - 150°C during 8 - 100 minutes to produce the appetising moist fodder for domestic animals.
EFFECT: invention implementation allows to enhance appetising capacity of moist fodders and beverages for domestic animals without manufacture cost increase and without manufacture process complication.
