SUBSTANCE: voltage-controlled layer arrangement contains a substrate (1), a layer structure (2, 3, 4, 5) applied onto the substrate and containing at least one electroconductive functional layer (3) positioned between the first electrode (2) and the second electrode (4) and a field reduction layer (5) that is less electro conductive than the functional layer (3) and is applied onto the second electrode (4) positioned on the layer structure side remote from the substrate so that to cover the second electrode (4) (at least - the butt-end area thereof (4a)) and electrically connect the second electrode (4) to the first electrode (2).
EFFECT: increased service life of the structured layer system.
