FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and aims at predicting risk of development of glaucoma in patients that have suffered radial keratotomy. Method includes determining, using a rotating Scheimpflug camera, total deviation value of points of front surface of cornea in peripheral zone of reference vales separately in morning and day time. At change of total deviation in day time by 20 % and more compared with morning value, risk of development of glaucoma is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables to predict risk of glaucoma in patients that have suffered front radial keratotomy, with further monitoring of patient's state and determine need for preventive measures.
