FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to ophthalmology and can be used to predict glaucoma basing on determination of dependence of individual intraocular pressure on cornea thickness. By means of ultrasonic pachymeter cornea thickness is measured. Estimated intraocular pressure is determined by method of pneumotonometry or contact tonometry. Individual physiological value of ophthalmic tone is determined by formula: IOPt=0.03265× "ЦСТ", where IOP T is individual intraocular pressure at certain cornea thickness, "ЦСТ" is cornea thickness in certain patient. If IOP value, obtained by method of tonometry, exceeds estimated value of individual ocular pressure, risk of glaucoma development is predicted.
EFFECT: application of invention increases accuracy of disease prediction and simplifies technique.
