FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: DNA is recovered from peripheral venous blood for the purpose of analysing dup 16 polymorphism of a 3rd intervening sequence and Arg72Pro polymorphism of a 4th exon of the TP53 gene. If observing the combinations of the *Arg/*Pro and *W/*dup 16 genotypes, a risk of developing malignant skin growths is predicted. The *Arg/*Arg and *W/*W genotypes enables to predict resistance to the onset of the disease.
EFFECT: creation of the prognostic criteria of developing malignant skin growths or stability thereto in fibreglass production workers as shown by molecular-genetic markers.
