DATA TRANSMISSION CONTROL BASED ON HARQ IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC H04L1/18

Abstract RU 2455772 C2

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: description of data transmission control technology in wireless communication system based on hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). In one version, user equipment (UE) can determine number (Z) of HARQ processes supported by user equipment (UE) e.g. based on quantity of resources available in user equipment (UE). User equipment (UE) can send information specifying number of HARQ processes supported by user equipment (UE) to node B. Then user equipment (UE) can receive data from node B regarding Z HARQ processes. In one version, user equipment (UE) can accept data for traffic with unguaranteed bit rate (non-GBR) regarding Z HARQ processes, and can accept data for traffic with guaranteed bit rate (GBR) by means of all HARQ processes available in system. In other version, user equipment (UE) can accept data both for GBR traffic and for non-GBR traffic regarding Z HARQ processes.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of data transmission.
