FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing high-silica zeolite which is used as a catalyst component, particularly in dewaxing catalysts. The method involves preparation of a suspension of powdered silica gel in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, preliminary crystallisation at temperature 100-120°C for 8-12 hours, cooling, adding aqueous sodium aluminate solution and crystallisation of the mixture at temperature 150-170°C for 6-24 hours.
EFFECT: cutting duration of the zeolite synthesis process, reducing the size of zeolite crystals while maintaining high crystallinity of the product.
