FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: gyroscope sensor includes transmitting transducer of acoustic body transverse wave 1, which is located on one of ends of solid acoustic line 2 made from isotropic material, the other end of which represents inclined edge 4 which is parallel to polarisation vector of emitted transverse wave and provides normal fall of longitudinal component of the wave, which appears at reflection from that edge to receiving converter of longitudinal vibrations 5, which is located on lateral edge of acoustic line. Longitudinal component of the wave appears in case of rotation in addition to transverse component, which can be recorded by the receiving converter of longitudinal waves on lateral edge of acoustic line. The signal arising due to the above is proportional to rotation speed.

EFFECT: improving signal-noise ratio and susceptibility.
