FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma of eye. Trabecular gauze in angle of anterior chamber at the level of Schlemm's canal in lower segment of trabecular gauze is subjected to exposure to laser radiation with wavelength 810 nm. Laser impact is performed in form of continuous laser pulses with exposure 500-1000 ms, power 900-2000 mW, spot diameter 200-300 mcm on circumference arc 270°. Total number of pulses is 99-150. Impact is performed in two steps with 5-7 day interval on circumference arc 135° during each step. Application of laser pulses is performed in such a way that spot area from the previous pulse covers by 1/3 spot area from the following pulse.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase treatment efficiency due to enhancement of hypotesive effect and to reduce manifestations of reactive syndrome due to reduction of zone of thermal affection of surrounding tissues.
