SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring primary colours relative references, wherein calibration and measurement are carried out using detachable sets of filters, having different transmission functions of optical radiation of primary colours R, G, B. Colour between transmission ranges of R, G, B filters is also measured. Three-dimensional models from measuring points are constructed and laid on a geometrical sphere. The colour-measuring device is calibrated based on any references, relative which colour measurement is carried out. The apparatus is characterised by that it has a set of R, G, B filters with zonal transmission functions or a set of R, G, B filters with overlapping colour transmission functions.
EFFECT: colour construction on coordinates inside the surface of a complete sphere in form of points with positive or negative colour values.
