FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: microwave phase changer comprises two transmission lines with identical wave resistances, one of which is designed for input of a microwave signal, and the other one - for output, two field transistors with a Schottky barrier, two inductances and a capacitance. The source of the first field transistor with the Schottky barrier is connected with a transmission line at the input. One of the ends of the first inductance is connected with one of the capacitance ends. One of the ends of the second inductance is connected to the transmission line at the output, and its other end - to the drain of the second field transistor with the Schottky barrier. Gates of both field transistors with the Schottky barrier are connected to each other and with one source of control DC voltage. To achieve the specified technical result, the device is equipped with a resistor having a resistance equal to a tenfold value of a wave resistance of the transmission line at the input or at the output. At the same time the drain of the first field transistor with the Schottky barrier is connected with a transmission line at the output. The drain of the second field transistor with the Schottky barrier is connected simultaneously with one of the ends of the first inductance and with one of the ends of the capacitance, the other end of the capacitance is connected to the transmission line at the input. The other end of the first inductance is grounded, and gates of both field transistors with the Schottky barrier are connected with one source of control DC voltage via a specified resistance.
EFFECT: expansion of a working frequency band, reduced value of direct microwave losses and reduced value of a voltage standing wave coefficient.
