TRANSGENIC MOUSE, DESIGNED TO SIMULATE STATES, THREATENING WITH DEVELOPMENT OF SYNDROME OF SUDDEN CARDIAC DEATH IN DYSTROPHIN-DEFICIENT CARDIOMYOPATHY Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A01K67/00 G09B23/28

Abstract RU 2460287 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. The essence of the invention is to obtain on the basis of mice mdx, which genetic marker is a mutation in exon of 23 dystrophin gene, of reproductive colony of white dystrophin-deficient mice. In these mice a tendency to develop the syndrome of sudden cardiac death is a result of the administration into the genome of mdx mice of the gene/genes responsible for the development of skin and ocular albinism.

EFFECT: invention enables to modulate the human diseases in animals, and may be used to identify groups at risk of sudden cardiac death, the identification of electrophysiological, biochemical, immunological predictors and development of new medical technologies for prevention and treatment.
