FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing perfluoroethylisopropyl ketone - a new-generation substance which has come to replace chlorofluorocarbons and meant to abate risks associated with human safety, efficiency of extinguishing and pollution of the environment. The method involves reaction of hexafluoropropene oxide and hexafluoropropene in a plug-flow reactor without using a solvent, in the presence of a CsF catalyst on an activated carbon support, at temperature 100-150°C and pressure 0-0.24 MPa.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain the end product with high output.
