FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the technology of producing catalysts containing halogens, catalysts containing fluorides, and specifically to production of a caesium fluoride catalyst CsF, deposited on activated carbon. Described is a method of producing a catalyst, which is caesium fluoride deposited on activated carbon, which involves saturating activated carbon with aqueous caesium fluoride solution and drying, wherein the saturated catalyst is dried for 8-12 hours at temperature of 320-350°C, while alternating processes of blowing dry nitrogen through its layer for 1-1.5 hours and evacuating at 1-5 mm Hg for 10 minutes, after which the catalyst is cooled in a current of dry nitrogen.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the obtained catalyst at relatively low temperatures, maintaining operational properties for a long period of time of more than 800 hours, which enables to carry out processes continuously, as well as relatively easy regeneration.
