FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemistry of adamantane derivatives and specifically to a novel method of producing adamant-1-yl 3-R-4,5-dihydroisoxazole-5-carboxylic esters which are synthons for synthesis of therapeutically active substances. The method of producing adamant-1-yl 3-R-4,5-dihydroisoxazole-5-carboxylic esters of general formula R1=СН3, R2=H
(I) involves bonding the corresponding 3-R-4,5-dihydroisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid to an adamantane derivative. The adamantane derivative used is 1,3-dehydroadamantane and the 3-R-4,5-dihydroisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid is: 3-methyl-4,5-dihydro-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid, 3-(2-methoxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid, 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydro-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid and 3-(2-chlorophenyl)-5-methyl-4,5-dihydro-isoxazole-5-carboxylic acid. The process is carried out in molar ratio of 1,3-dehydroadamantane to 3-R-4,5-dihydroisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid of 1:1, in a dioxane medium at temperature 101°C for 1 hour.
EFFECT: simple synthesis method, wider range of obtained end compounds with sufficiently high output.
