FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemistry of adamantane derivatives, specifically to a novel method of producing adamantyl esters of unsaturated acids of general formula: , where R1=H; R2=H (1). R1=H; R2=CH3 (2); R1=C6H5; R2=H (3). The method involves reaction of an adamantane derivative with unsaturated acids, wherein the adamantane derivative used is 1,3-dehydroadamantane and the unsaturated acids used are compounds selected from: acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or cinnamic acid, with the reactants in molar ratio of 1:(1.5-2) in a diethyl ether medium at boiling temperature thereof for 20-30 minutes.
EFFECT: technologically effective and universal method of producing adamantyl esters of unsaturated carboxylic acids with high output.
