FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: diagnostic technique for stress condition and body response on unfavourable ecological factors involves assessment of the structural-functional state of peripheral blood lymphocytes in a smear with analysing an agranulocyte sample with the use of computer analysis of digital images; typical, reactive and atypical forms of lymphocytes are identified; the prevalence of small dark narrow plasma forms among typical lymphocytes, portion of small and medium reactive dark lymphocytes more than 5% testify to the acute stress condition; a low lymphocyte-monocyte index (less than 6.0), portion of reactive light lymphocytes more than 10%, portion of large granular lymphocytes less than 5% testify to the chronic stress condition, considerable portion of atypical lymphocytes (more than 5%), including binuclear, polynuclear ones and ones with micronuclei testify to body response on unfavourable ecological factors.

EFFECT: reduced labour input and higher method accuracy.
