FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed chewing gum contains at least one sweetener, at least one flavoring agent and water-insoluble chewing gum base. Chewing gum base contains polymers obtained only from renewable sources. Chewing gum base contains 3–30 wt % of at least one synthetic elastomer, selected from a group consisting of butyl rubber, butadiene-styrene rubber and polyisobutylene, and a plastic resin which is polyvinyl acetate.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at harm reduction to environment during chewing gum production due to application of renewable sources.
