SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of making glass articles and device to this end. Proposed method comprises glass feed into forming mould from feeder communicated with initial solution fusing chamber. Said chamber is furnished with electrodes arranged in fused solution to heat the latter by applying current to said electrodes. Then, fused solution is heated above fused solution after fusing initial material. Then, mixer is transferred into fusing chamber to mix fused solution.

EFFECT: increased glass homogeneity.
