FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of organic chemistry, in particular, to method of obtaining 3-(o-,m-,p-nitrophenyl)-tetrahydro-2H,6H-1,5,3-dithiazocenes of general formula (1): , characterised by the following: 1,3-propanedithiol is subjected to interaction with water formaldehyde and o-(or m- or n-)nitroaniline in presence of catalyst Co(acac)3 in mole ratio formaldehyde : 1,3-propanedithiol : Co(acac)3=10:20:10:(0.3-0.7) in argon atmosphere in chloroform as solvent at room temperature for 5-7 hours.
EFFECT: elaborated is method of obtaining novel3-(o-,m-,p-nitrophenyl)-tetrahydro-2H,6H-1,5,3-dithiazocenes, which cam be applied as antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral agents, as complexing agents, selective sorbents and extractants of precious metals, special reagents for suppression of vital activity of bacteria in various technical media.
