FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: peripheral blood is analysed by light microscopy to determine a number of cell associations of neutrophils with erythrocytes and eosinophils with erythrocytes (expressed in percentage); the analysis is conducted at least twice for a period of remission every 3 months; native blood is analysed. If the number of cell associations of neutrophils with erythrocytes exceeds 70%, and the number of cell associations of eosinophils with erythrocytes is less than 8% in both analyses, a severe clinical course is predicted. If neutrophil associations make less than 70%, and eosinophil associations make more than 8%, a clinical course of mild or moderate severity in both analyses is predicted.
EFFECT: enabled early detection of the patients of a risk group.
