FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises stage (a) of ingot preheating to temperature of crystallisation center formation lower than hot processing temperature, step (b) of additional ingot heating to temperature of the growth of isolated phase, and step (c). In step (c), given ingot temperature after step (b) does not equal hot processing preset temperature, additional ingot heating is performed to preset hot processing temperature.
EFFECT: ingots that may be rolled without hot treatment or additional homogenisation.
