FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and may be used for passive detection and direction finding of communication, location and control systems, using radio signals with expanded spectrum. The technical result is achieved due to application of complex wavelet-conversion of digital signals, breakdown of the wavelet spectrum into frequency-time windows and double-stage procedure of making a decision on detection-direction finding, which brought the quality of the matched filtration at low signal/noise ratios and time mismatch of a transmitter and a detector-direction finder closer to the limit achievable quality for a case of a fully available signal.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity in detection and higher accuracy of direction finding of radio radiations sources under conditions of temporary mismatch of a transmitter and a detector-direction finder and with presence of radio signals from several sources following each other in time in an analysed sample.
