FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of liquid enteral nutritional compositions. The sterilised liquid enteral nutritional composition contains 10-20 g of protein per 100 ml of the composition. The whole or most of the said protein contains native micellar casein, less than 15 wt % of the said protein containing milk whey. Additionally, one proposes, according to the invention, the composition production method involving a stage whereat water solution of protein is evaporated and then -sterilised after pH control to 6.6-7.2, homogenisation and pasteurisation.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a liquid enteral composition having long term storage life and containing a large quantity of undamaged protein in a minimal liquid volume.
