FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid enteral nutritional composition and its application for human alimentation. The composition contains 8 - 14 g of protein per 100 ml of the composition, has energy intensity equal to at least 2.0 kcal/ml; the protein includes micellar casein and a caseinate. Alternatively, the liquid enteral nutritional composition contains protein accounting for 10 - 30% of all the energy content of the composition and fat accounting for 20 - 40% of the total energy content of the composition. Alternatively, the liquid enteral nutritional composition contains nearly 9.6 g of protein per 100 ml of the composition of a mixture of micellar casein, a caseinate and milk whey with weight ratio of micellar casein: caseinate: milk whey being 63:21:16. The composition contains protein in an amount of nearly 16%, fat - in an amount of nearly 35%, carbohydrate in an amount of nearly 49% of the whole energy content of the composition, respectively; the composition has energy intensity equal to 2.4 kcal/ml.

EFFECT: high energy content and low viscosity of the liquid enteral composition allow to consume it orally or administer through a probe.
