FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drum for assembling uncured tire with the help of tire rubber components. Proposed method exploits tire assembly drum and has lengthwise axis and two side ring supports arranged spaced apart on said lengthwise axis. Note here that side ring support serves to support its core by means for unclamping core radially. Tire assembly drum comprises set of debending levers arranged on every side, outside said side ring supports. Note that every said debending lever has first end directed to side ring support and provided with roller to get in contact with tire part. Every said debending lever is hinged to ring element sliding in lengthwise direction for clamping debending levers. Said drum incorporates also means to displace axially and radially every set of levers from first position whereat lever rollers make closed ring into second position whereat said means thrust tire bead rings against unclamped tire parts, said means being arranged between side ring supports. Besides, proposed method comprises stage of designing drum so that said means of radial and axial displacement comprises control sliding ring with inclined deflecting surface inclined, axially from side ring support, outward from lengthwise axis. Note here that each debending lever is furnished with control element arranged between two ends of debending lever to rest on deflecting surface. Control ring segment is provided with thrust for ring element for attachment of debending levers while said ring element is arranged between control ring segment and side ring support. Note here that, in said first position, control ring element thrust is remote from ring element for attachment of debending levers. Besides, proposed method comprises selecting axial distances between side ring support and debending lever first and control elements so that, in displacing said control segment from position whereat debending levers stay in their first position, in direction of side ring support, deflecting surface gets in contact with control element to drive is from first position. Thereafter, roller element at first end of debending lever gets in direct contact with tire parts, simultaneously with displacement of roller outward from lengthwise axis. Note that control element displaces along deflecting surface unless control ring segment gets in contact with ring element for attachment of debending levers. Thereafter, debending lever turns about hinge pivot while control element moves apart from deflecting surface.
EFFECT: ruled out impressions of tire components.
