FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: cantilever eave of a roof includes a hinged breaking-off organ fixed to it, which is made as composite from hingedly connected rectangular plates arranged in parallel to the eave edge. Plates making up the breaking-off organ are bent around their longitudinal axis, forming a circular segment in the cross section, and are installed next to each other with serial alternation of concave and convex surfaces facing one side.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
