FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: carbide-silicon heating element has one or more zones of heating and two or more cold ends, in which: the area of cross section of two or more cold ends is substantially same or less than the area of cross section of one or more zones of heating; and at least a part of at least one cold end comprises a body of a recrystallised carbide-silicon material, coated with a conductive coating, having a lower electric specific resistance compared to recrystallised carbide-silicon material.
EFFECT: invention provides for the possibility to use a coating on cold ends to supply current to the heating area.
