FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organometallic synthesis, specifically to a method for combined production of 1-chloro-3-alkylaluminacycloheptanes (1) and 1-chloro-3-alkylaluminacyclononanes (2) of general formula: where R=n-C4H9, n-C5H11, n-C6H13. The method involves reaction of 1-chloro-3-alkylaluminacycloheptane with ethylene in the presence of a titanium tetrachloride catalyst TiCl4 at excess ethylene pressure of 0.02-0.04 MPa, with molar ratio (1-chloro-3-alkylaluminacycloheptane):TiCl4=10:(0.3-0.6), in hexane at temperature of about 20°C for 3-5 hours.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain organoaluminium compounds which can be used as cocatalysts in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefins, acetylene and dienes, and as initial reactants for synthesis of different bifunctional and heterocyclic compounds.
