FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven power plant comprises blades, installed on a ring pontoon made as capable of rotation relative to a vertical axis, an energy converter, made as capable of conversion of rotation energy, placed on the platform covered by the ring pontoon, a kinematic mechanism made as capable of transferring energy of rotation of the ring pontoon to a receiving unit of an energy converter. The platform comprises upperworks equipped with an energy converter, and the upperworks are rigidly connected with a floating base submerged below the water surface and is equipped with facilities of positioning in the form of anchors connected with it by flexible elements. The floating base is equipped with at least three semi-submersible floating bodies, which are rigidly connected with it in its underwater part, being arranged evenly at the outer side of the ring pontoon. At the same time the semi-submersible bodies are made as extended in direction of ring pontoon radius.
EFFECT: expansion of possible areas of wind-driven plants location due to free surface of sea shelf with depths above 50 metres in a zone of strongest and most stable winds with low turbulence, increased energy yield.
