FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for prediction of ischemic heart disease in females with polycystic ovarian syndrome by studying the biological parameters wherein blood serum is examined for peroxynitrite and nitrogen oxide metabolites , to calculate their ratio, and if the derived value is more than 0.2, potentially developing ischemic heart disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables improving the accuracy and specificity of the prediction of ischemic heart disease in polycystic ovarian syndrome and well-timed pathogenetic therapy.
