FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and can be applied in stapedoplasty in patients with otosclerosis. Method lies in application of Teflon piston prosthesis of stapes with 0.8 mm diameter, one end of which is introduced into vestibule through hole in sub-pedicle plate, the other end is formed by preliminary cutting off loop near its base and fixed to incus. As fastening to incus used is autocartilage with perichondrium in form of plate with dimensions 1.5-2×2-2.5 mm with flaps of perichondrium projecting beyond autocartilage edge by 2.5-3 mm with hole in cartilage centre which has diameter 0.8 mm for connection with the end of Teflon prosthesis. Plate of autocartilage is laid under long process of incus and is fixed to it by means of flaps from perichondrium.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to obtain good hearing-improving result with sparing opening of vestibule, which minimises hydrodynamic injury of inner ear during operation, as well as reduce risk of such delayed complications as prosthesis displacement and necrosis of long incus pedicle.
