DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR NON-ST ELEVATION ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01N33/49 A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2482488 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: patient's blood is taken from the cubital vein, added with heparin as an anticoagulant, with using a dielectric Fourier spectrometer, a short current pulse is passed through the blood sample, and the polarization decay function is recorded; that is followed by the Fourier transform of this function, and the calculation of the impedance loci within a certain frequency range, and if observing the values of at least one of the dielectric characteristics of blood: r0, x0, y0 of the impedance locus beyond the norm, the patient is diagnosed with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome. The use of the declared method improves the accuracy of instant diagnosis of myocardial ischemia accompanying non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome within the first 3 hours of the disease in the patients with negative markers of myocardial necrosis.

EFFECT: method is high-sensitive, requires a small amount of blood to be taken; it is quick to implement, sets up the minimum qualification requirements for medical personnel.
