FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: plasmothermic processing method of solid wastes involves continuous air supply, periodic supply of wastes in the form of packages, continuous, simultaneous and separate gasification of wastes (at shortage of oxygen), combustion of coke residue and fusion of ash using a plasma jet at excess oxygen, mixing (at shortage of oxygen) of released gaseous products with gaseous decomposition products, melt output, afterburning, cooling and cleaning of flue gases. Before coke residue is supplied to be fused, simultaneous poking (turning) and levelling of coke residue layer is performed as to the height with simultaneous air supply to the poking zone. Besides, plasmothermic processing device of solid wastes is described.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of plasmothermic processing process of packed solid wastes, carrying out more complete gasification of packed wastes, and reducing carbon content in slag.
