FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding and may be used for, for example, for making composite cathode from refractory materials for vacuum deposition of fine films in machine building, microelectronics, instrument making, etc. Cathode contact surfaces are prepared and soldered together using amorphous solder. Said amorphous solder is applied on said contact surfaces by gas-dynamic deposition. Two-component functional-gradient coating is applied on rear side of cathode sprayed part. Said two-component coating has its first component made from material whereof sprayed cathode part is made. Note here that content of first component material is varied by linear law from 100% on sprayed cathode rear surface to 0% on produced coating surface. Second component is made of material whereof cathode base is made. Note here that content of second component material is varied by linear law from 0% on sprayed cathode rear surface to 100% on produced coating surface.
EFFECT: thin-film coats of various functional purpose to ensure high-quality soldered joint.
