FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a unit of metallised pellets feed is made in the form of a supplying flexible hose, a cone funnel from electric insulation material with a cylindrical tip and auxiliary nozzles for supply of gas mixture under pressure into a flow of metallised pellets. At the same time the receiving funnel is made with a nozzle arranged on its bottom, to which the upper end of the flexible hose is fixed, the lower end of which is arranged inside the cone funnel, the cylindrical tip of which is placed in the axial hole of the hollow electrode.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of processes of metallised pellets melting in an arc furnace bath due to supply of pellets into zone of high temperatures in electrode sheath of an arc furnace.
