SUBSTANCE: scintillation neutron detector includes a scintillation plate with a mixture of crystals ZnS:Ag(Cu):6LiF dispersed in an optically transparent medium, a light guide, a photoelectric multiplier and a detector with a pulse shape discriminator, wherein the device includes an air light guide made from material with a high total light reflection factor of 96-98%, the surface of the scintillation plate is coated with optically transparent and reflecting material; the detecting device with rejection of gamma radiation pulses is based on a circuit for integrating analogue pulses in a delayed and fixed-duration window.
EFFECT: high efficiency of detecting neutrons, high sensitivity Rn to neutron radiation.
