FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to ornithopters. Ornithopter comprises airframe supporting driven tandem wings. Every outer wing is secured at airframe to turn about lengthwise and crosswise axes, coupled with drive and furnished with mechanism changing the angle of attack and that to vary amplitude of turn relative to crosswise axis. Aforesaid drive comprises power plant coupled with synchronising reduction gearboxes engaged via crank mechanism with appropriate outer wings. Said hydraulic drive comprises hydraulic cylinders coupled with outer wings and control system. Ornithopter airframe is composed of spatial rod system. Aforesaid mechanism changing the angle of attack includes bracket rigidly secured at transverse axle and engaged with said drive. Aforesaid mechanism to vary amplitude of turn relative to crosswise axis comprises drive lever with stops articulated with aforesaid bracket to interact with outer wing stop. Sops of said levers are composed of dampers.
EFFECT: efficient generation of lift and ornithopter control.
