FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device for connecting a servo drive with at least one electrical cable has an external housing with at least one cable inlet which lets in a cable in operating state of the device, and a hole which can be closed by an electrical connector which forms the contact surface of the servo drive. The electrical connector has a plate made from insulating material, which is provided with electrical contacts with an elongated shape, which cross the plate in a perpendicular direction. Each electrical contact has a socket which is internal with respect to the device, the socket being able to be connected to an electrical cable, and a socket which is external with respect to the device, which can be connected to the corresponding electrical contact of the servo drive. The external housing has a hole for inlet of liquid located inside the housing of the device in its operational configuration, and a plate of the electrical connector, lying along the internal socket of the electrical contacts.
EFFECT: preventing steam from entering the connecting device through the cable or cables in case of emergency at an atomic power station which employs a servo drive fitted with said device, and enabling water to flow from the device, the water being formed as a result of condensation of steam that has entered the device.
