FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway electric power supply lines, particularly, to trolley poles and suspensions. For determination the distance from rail head to trolley poly cantilever clamps fitting, first, reference point is defined by projecting rail head level onto the pole by laser target designator. Said laser target designator is used to measure distance between reference point and trolley poly cantilever top clamp fitting point and required distance between reference point and trolley pole cantilever lower clamp fitting point. Lower clamp is mounted at the pole to lift preassembled cantilever and fit it in mounted top and lower clamps. Note here that laser target designator Zenit 4T and optical rangefinder Leica Disco D3 are used.
EFFECT: precise design distance between rail head and cantilever clamps.
