FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in obtaining fused welding materials, in particular, for coatings of welding electrodes, applied at electric arc welding of constructions from carbonaceous and low-alloyed steels in oil and gas and other fields of industry. Mineral alloy contains components in the following ratio, wt %: silicon oxide 38-39, aluminium oxide 22-24, iron oxide (III) 12-14, calcium oxide 10-12, magnesium oxide 9-10 and sodium oxide and/or potassium oxide 3-5.
EFFECT: electrodes with claimed composition of mineral alloy make it possible to completely eliminate porosity of weld seam with easily separable slug crust, are not toxic and have low cost.
