SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in preparation of water for bactericidal, virucidal and algaecidal water processing. To realise the method applied is reaction volume, in which chlorine dioxide, totally surrounded by water, is obtained, with surrounding reaction volume water simultaneously being water subjected to processing, and formed in reaction volume chlorine dioxide comes from reaction volume directly into water subjected to processing. Reaction volume is reactor, which is exploited without device for pressure regulation, and reactor is provided with free outlet, with pressure in reaction volume being able to grow only to the value, to which pressure, rendered on reaction volume by surrounding water, corresponds Reactor is a pipe reactor. Mixing of reagents is realised in reaction volume. Time of interaction of reagents in reaction volume varies within the interval from 4 to 60 minutes, and chlorine dioxide is obtained from applied as reagents alkali chlorite and hydrochloric acid.
EFFECT: method ensures safe and effective technology of water processing with chlorine dioxide with exclusion of chlorine dioxide emission into atmosphere.
