FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of producing volume silicicated articles. Claimed method of producing articles from CSCM, includes preparation of blank from porous carbon-graphite material, forming on it of slip coating based on composition of silicon powder and temporary binding agent, heating in vacuum to 1700-1900°C with maximal possible speed in interval 1300-1650°C with the following keeping for 1-3 hours in interval 1700-1900°C and cooling. To carry out silicification assemblage of charge is carried out in closed volume of limiting retort. In charge together withblank additionally installed are crucibles with silicon, at least, part of which is filled with powder-like silicon. In the process of silicification crucibles with silicon are heated to larger temperature than temperature of silicicated blank.
EFFECT: simplification of method of producing large-dimension articles from carbon-siliconcarbide materials with ensuring high purity of their surface and high degree of silicification.
