FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and is intended for determination of cornea permeability. Thickness of cornea is preliminarily determined. 1% fluorescein solution is applied on cornea locally on 12 o'clock by application. Duration of its passage into anterior chamber through all layers of cornea is fixed. Cornea permeability is determined by coefficient K, which is calculated by formula: K=N/t, where N is cornea thickness in mcm, t is duration of fluorescein penetration through all corneal layers in sec.
EFFECT: being simple in implementation, method provides possibility of diagnosing initial stages of inflammatory processes of anterior eye segment with carrying out proper adequate therapy.
