FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: 0.05-0.50 mm-thick steel sheets subjected to annealing for secondary recrystallisation and having final insulating coats are processed by continuous laser by scanning sheet surface across its path. Additionally, local defects are engrafted in sheet processing zones and, at a time, plastic strain causes surface contraction to depth of not over 1/4 of sheet thickness. As defects basis used are weak-magnetic powders with saturation magnetization of 200-500 gauss to be filled on steel sheet surface or applied thereon by magnetically active coating, or additionally filled on the coat while at final processing stage, backing is performed at 500-550°C.
EFFECT: higher magnetic and mechanical properties.
