FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: electronic meter (20) includes an interface (201), configured for communication with a flow metering assembly of a vibration flow meter and for reception of an oscillating response, and a processing system (203) connected to the interface (201). The processing system (203) is configured to measure mass flow rate and density for the specified interval of fluid pumping time, to determine, whether the pumped fluid is aerated within the specified interval of time, and if aeration does not take place within the specified time interval, to add the product of mass-density to the accumulated product of mass-density and to add the mass flow to the accumulated mass flow, and to determine density of weighted average mass corresponding to aeration for the pumped fluid by means of division of the accumulated product of mass density by the accumulated mass flow.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of fluid properties, reliability of measurement of potentially aerated fluids, possibility to measure and to record variations of fluid properties during pumping.
