SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining reliability of measurement of a vibratory flow meter and an electronic meter for a flow meter. Method comprises the following steps, at which: placing process fluid in vibration meter; amount of entrained gas in process fluid is measured, wherein amount of entrained gas is determined by gas volume; and determining the reliability level of measurement of at least one working parameter of flow based on amount of entrained gas in process fluid and time interval between registration of fluid conditions. Electronic meter (20) for flow meter (5) is configured to receive process fluid and comprises interface (201) configured to communicate with flow meter (5) assembly and receive oscillatory response, and processing system (203) connected to interface (201), comprising: a validity measurement program (215) configured to: to measure amount of entrained gas in process fluid, wherein amount of entrained gas is determined by gas volume; and to determine the level of reliability of measurement of at least one operating parameter of flow based on amount of entrained gas in process fluid and time interval between registration of fluid conditions.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy of determining flow rate.
