FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: provided is a method for determining the pressure of vapours of a fluid. The method includes the stages of providing a meter (5) with an electronic meter (20), a meter (5) constituting at least either a flow meter or a densitometer, and a process fluid flowing through the meter (5). The pressure of the process fluid is measured. The pressure of the process fluid is adjusted until a single-phase/two-phase boundary is reached. The pressure of the flowing vapours of the process fluid is determined at the single-phase/two-phase boundary.
EFFECT: elimination of the need for periodic sampling and complete elimination of the risk of changes in the properties of the fluid in the interval of time between sampling and laboratory testing, increase in the safety due to real-time measurements.
