SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Under standard operating conditions of rolling plant, rolled material is continuously fed from teeming or winding device into finishing mill for it to be rolled to first finished product. Rolling plant operating conditions are continuously controlled. In case deviation from standard operating conditions originates to affect rolling process, chances of making second output product in continuous rolling process ordered by customer is defined. In cases said chances are zero, continuous rolling is changed over to intermittent process.
